Marine Corps Junior
ROTC Leadership Education develops good citizenship, self-confidence and
self-discipline. Leadership Education classes introduce cadets to the
elements of Leadership, Military Customs, Drill and ceremonies, Uniform
Inspections, Physical Fitness Training, Marksmanship, and Marine Corps
history. Cadets are required to participate in civic service and wear
the uniform once a week.
Leadership Education
The MCJROTC Program is a four-year program in
Leadership Education. The program is open to both male and female
students. It is designed to develop the leadership abilities of each
student regardless of which career path they follow. It is not designed
to be a recruiting tool for the military, nor is it any type of "boot
camp."
